A nice lady emailed me a few months back, and asked me to do her wedding henna at Brushwood during Sirius Rising.  I'd done henna on her before, and she wanted a classic henna for her pagan-style handfasting (to compliment her civil vows).  Her new husband's surname is Singh, and she got herself a magnificent red/gold/silver classic Indian bridal gown and wanted full Indian bridal henna to go with it. Feet to knee, fully filled, hands to elbow, fully filled.   No problem.

I asked Zimra to split the job with me, as there were more people in the wedding party who wanted henna too, and I didn't want to make the poor woman wait all day.  The two of us cleared the job in 2 1/2 hours.  We used henna from Castle Art, mixed with lemon juice 24 hours ahead, and terped with Cajeput, Clove Bud, Geranium Bourbon and Neroli essentil oils.   We just left the henna on until it fell off.  The day temperature was in the high 80's F (near 30 C) and humid.  The stains peaked deep brick red on the legs and arms,  beginning to break up on the 10th day..

She picked out some Pushpalata Bangur patterns from Navneet, and we started to work.
She wanted perfect symmetry, so I sketched the general layout on her legs with a Stabilo CarbOthello Aquarellable pencil first.

I laid out the foot and leg patterns in aquarellable pencil, so it was easy to get the complex henna symmetrical.
